Volunteering at Infosys
Employee volunteering is a vital part of our CSR efforts in education, healthcare, environment, and relief work. We have achieved over 1,50,000 volunteer hours in the past year, surpassing our initial commitment of 75,000 hours. With more than 48,000 volunteers across 21 DCs globally, touching over 2 lakh lives, CSR volunteerism has come to the forefront in our mission to give back, and has grown into a thriving community of changemakers. This volunteering culture has strengthened vulnerable communities and deepened our employees' understanding of their challenges.
Sustainable Resilience Amidst Change
Salil Parekh emphasizes that Infosys' CSR is deeply rooted in energizing local communities. Besides a funding body, we aim to be partners-in-progress. His vision highlights sustainable, long-term impact in areas of education, health, livelihoods, rural development, and digital inclusion. The goal is to empower people, particularly in underserved regions, and ensure that growth is inclusive, environment-conscious, and socially meaningful. Thus, create lasting impact by aligning initiatives with ethical, long-term corporate goals.
